Dear Friend,
There are questions we can carry for years before finding the moment to ask them. Who helped us become the people we are? What did they give us that we understood only later? And what of that inheritance might someone younger be waiting to receive?
A Song for the Generations grew from the desire to make room for those conversations. Its songs, stories and artwork approach the same human longings from different directions, with the hope that somewhere a familiar memory will become an opening between people. This first collection remains our immediate focus as its recordings, illustrations and narrated stories are developed.
The documents gathered here offer a closer look at the collection and the journey behind it. Begin with the sixteen-song guide, and follow the other reflections wherever a question or a longing draws you farther in.
